During the Christmas Break of 2022, Encanto came out, and I became obsessed with the movie. While re-re-re-re-watching it, I started to draw one of my favourite characters using the Procreate app. Here is a second drawing of Bruno, this time as the fearless Hernando!

I had the privilege to work with companies to do their business logo. From choosing the font to iconography, every step is important and says more about the company that the public can anticipate
For my illustration class, we needed to create a minimalist movie poster with a quote from the said movie. It had to be recognizable within a glance for people who have seen the movie. Enjolras and the flag is one of the most important symbols of the movie, but I feel most of the poster does not give due to Cosette and Valjean. Having them intertwine in the scene was my way to say how both story are important.
We had to create 4 illustrated Canada Post stamp that would fit into a collection. I chose mine to be the women of star wars, made in a watercolour-brush style. The all have one logo of the show that represent them as well.

In our drawing class, we were tasked to take a ”Master” and study his style by recreating one of his art through digital painting. Hayao Miyazaki is one of the artists I admire in style and his philosophy about art and cinema. Here is the finished painting, the different stages of the creation!
We were tasked to do two self-portraits and create a composition image with them. As both my style were different palettes of colours, I decided not to stay into a realistic approach and use only one colour and its hues per image. I used external elements of the triangle to make them speak with each other. Despite being one of the hardest challenges I’ve had in this program, this became one of my favourite pieces I’ve created.
Creating a vinyl cover and sleeve was a great challenge as it is a medium coming back into popularity. I chose the soundtrack of the video game Horizon Zero Dawn and tried to represent the game’s feelings without copying the art created for it. I used the shadow of the character and one of the most beloved creatures of the universe (tall neck) and played with different perspectives to make it work together. The inside sleeve still follow the character with another part of the world, linking both designs together
